British AirwaysBritish Airways has loaded its Spring Luxury World Sale for 2016 travel to destinations worldwide in their Club World Business and First Class cabins. Periods of availability vary by destination as usual, reflecting seasonal demand variations. Fares must be booked by 23:59 GMT on 22nd March 2016. An official ‘Sale‘ page is published to the airline’s website, although the BA Low Fare Finder at ba.com is the best way to check the new fares and availability.

Travel periods generally mirror peak leisure travel ‘holiday’ periods, although North American destinations are generally priced rather higher than in the last sale. Caribbean, Latin American and Middle Eastern fares are largely on a par with December 2015 sale prices, with the Far East & Australia mostly lower than the Winter promotion. The stand-out fare in this sale appears to be First Class to Delhi for Christmas 2016, which has availability at £1961 return – which we calculate to be a 40% saving on the previous price.

British Airways Business & First Class Sale Fares Loaded 29th October 2015

by Continental Club on October 29, 2015  |  3 comments • Tagged as: , , , , , , , , , , , ,

British Airways has today loaded sale fares for travel to destinations worldwide in their Club World Business and First Class cabins and, as usual, we’re bringing Continental Club readers the breaking news before the official advertising starts – when availability is at its very best. The fares are listed in full below and are available to book immediately at ba.com.

The specific promotional page for the sale is now live on the BA website at ba.com, but the British Airways Low Fare Finder may be the easiest means of checking and booking the lowest fares.

Club World Business Class and First Class Sale fares earn full Tier Point and Avios credit in the British Airways Executive Club, and points in the OnBusiness SME Loyalty programme for eligible members. Sale fares are available on selected services operated by BA’s latest Airbus A380, Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 fleets, with the latter’s 8-Seat First Class cabin shown here.

Bookings in this sale must be made by 17th November 2015, for various travel dates between 12th November 2015 and 15th October 2016. Some travel periods to certain destinations are quite restricted this time; the lowest fares to Dubai, for example, are available only for travel between 18th December 2015 and 8th January 2016. Most sale fares must be booked no later than 28 days before departure.

Comparing this sale to the last ‘Premium Leisure Offer’ in August 2015, North America, the Caribbean and Latin America look to be the biggest beneficiaries of fare reductions, whilst across Africa, Cape Town, Johannesburg and Nairobi have so far missed the sale fairy’s dust shaker completely. We will monitor this in case of further sprinklings over the continent.

In the meantime, for a full list of currently available longhaul destinations and starting Club World and First Class fares, scroll down or click ‘READ MORE’ below. The listing includes the equivalent fares from the last comparable sale in August 2015.

British Airways Low Fare Finder

Prior to the publication of a specific ‘Sale’ page The ‘Sale‘ page is now live at ba.com, although the airline’s Low Fare Finder is the most effective way of locating sale fare availability, which extends across both Club World business and First Class cabins on longhaul routes, and Club Europe shorthaul business class as well. The booking deadline for this sale is 10th March 2015.

British Airways Club World & First Class Sale Fares Loaded 17th December 2014

by Continental Club on December 18, 2014  |  One comment • Tagged as: , , , , , , , , , , ,

British AirwaysBritish Airways traditionally leads the market with a pre-Christmas sale in all of its longhaul cabins. In recent years, it has broken cover around a week before Christmas Day itself. This year, things haven’t exactly worked out the same way, with Christmas fares appearing more like lonesome tone-deaf voices knowing only half the words to the carol, rather than King’s College Choir in full chorus.

Finally though, it sounds like the Waterside version of Gareth Malone has turned up and got everyone to at least read from the same hymn book.

So, HallelujahClub World business and First Class sale fares are now loaded, following on from last week’s World Traveller economy and World Traveller Plus premium economy sale launches.

British Airways A380 First Class Cabin Interior

As with the sale in those World Traveller and World Traveller Plus cabins, bookings must be made by 27th January 2015, for travel dates which vary by destination. All Club World business and First Class sale fares qualify for full credit in the British Airways Executive Club frequent flyer programme, as well as for OnBusiness points for small and medium sized enterprises enrolled in that programme.

There are still a few X-Factor early-round bum-note interlopers though, which makes analysing the sale quite difficult overall. Seoul, for example, is almost 25% cheaper in First Class than it was last time around, while New York is almost 30% more expensive in Club World. That said, for anyone who has been hovering over the ‘book now’ button in recent weeks, most destinations do see notable reductions during the relevant travel periods.

British Airways Business & First Class Sale Fares Loaded 23rd October 2014

British AirwaysBritish Airways is loading sale fares in its longhaul Club World Business and First Class cabins, for travel to destinations worldwide. Our constant watch on fares means that we can highlight savings before they’re publicly promoted in the media, via travel agents or even on the BA.com homepage.

BA Luxury Sale Autumn 2014

The airline has updated a webpage in its ‘offers‘ section however, which highlights Club World and First Class fares for travel at Christmas and during the UK Winter Half Term breaks. Other travel dates are available, and bookings must be made by Wednesday 12th November 2014.

As always, Club World Business Class and First Class Sale fares earn full Tier Point and Avios credit in the British Airways Executive Club, and points in the OnBusiness SME Loyalty programme for eligible members.

The fares are not all fully-loaded yet; some are listed in the system but availability is only just being attached to seats – so keep checking at ba.com. Other fares (for example Bermuda) are not yet showing a sale fare on direct services from London, however there maybe indirect availability at lower/sale fares with connections on American Airlines. Sale fares are non-changeable and non-cancellable.

There look to be fewer stand-out fares in this sale than the last one; most of biggest reductions are probably more to do with the August sale not offering a particularly strong fare to a given destination – for example Boston being 19% lower in Club this time round. Conversely, South East Asian destinations barely feature in this sale, with Bengalaru starting at £2212 now, compared to £1370 during the Summer sale. This may of course change as fares are continuing to appear.

For a full list of currently available longhaul destinations and starting Club World and First Class fares, scroll down or click ‘READ MORE’ below. The listing includes some fares which are not ‘Sale’ fares per se, but are listed for completeness, as well as the equivalent fares from the last ‘Luxury World‘ sale in August 2014.
