British Airways Offers Free Flights And London 2012 Olympic Games Tickets

by Continental Club on June 1, 2012

From the 1st to the 14th June, London 2012 partner airline British Airways will be offering UK-based customers the chance to ‘fly a friend home for free‘.

The idea behind the promotion is based on evidence that competitors perform best when backed by the greatest levels of motivation from their own supporters – the so-called ‘home advantage.’

Denise Lewis, Sir Clive Woodward and Michael Johnson are championing the drive to encourage Britons to back TeamGB Olympians and Paralympians, with British Airways giving away £250,000 of tickets to fly friends and relatives of competitors, as well as winners of the #HomeAdvantage competition back to London for the Summer games.

There are twelve pairs of tickets available from each of 20 British Airways overseas stations and full details are to be found on the British Airways #HomeAdvantage webpage.

Further updates will also be available by ‘following’ British Airways (or searching the ‘hashtag’ #HomeAdvantage) on Twitter and by ‘liking’ their page on Facebook.

And, as of 6th June 2012, there’s an additional opportunity for British Airways’ Executive Club members to win tickets. Simply go to the registration page and log in with your Executive Club username and password/PIN.
