British AirwaysBritish Airways has now also loaded sale fares in its World Traveller (Economy) and World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy) cabins for travel to destinations worldwide on selected dates through to 2018. Periods of availability vary by destination, reflecting seasonal demand variations. Fares must be booked by 23:59 GMT on 26th September 2017. An official ‘Sale’ page will undoubtedly be published later to the airline’s website at ba.com, but for now the BA Low Fare Finder is the best way to check the new fares and availability.

Overall, Economy and Premium Economy fares are 4% higher than in the last sale. Sydney moves from £699 return to £733 in Economy, for example. Los Angeles adds £100 to its Premium Economy fare, while Vancouver sheds £70 compared to last time around. Mauritius remains favoured, with its notable sub £1000 Premium Economy fare reappearing this time.

All sale fares qualify for Avios and Tier Point credit in the British Airways Executive Club frequent flyer programme, as well as OnBusiness points for small and medium sized enterprises enrolled in that programme.

British Airways Economy & Premium Economy Sale Fares Loaded 22nd June 2017

by Continental Club on June 22, 2017  |  Leave a comment • Tagged as: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

British AirwaysBritish Airways has loaded sale fares in its World Traveller (Economy) and World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy) cabins for travel to destinations worldwide on selected dates through to early 2018. Periods of availability vary by destination, reflecting seasonal demand variations. Fares must be booked by 23:59 GMT on 11th July 2017. An official ‘Sale’ page will undoubtedly be published later to the airline’s website at ba.com, but for now the BA Low Fare Finder is the best way to check the new fares and availability.

Overall, Economy fares are 3% higher than in the last sale, and Premium Economy fares are on average exactly the same. Sydney at £699 return in Economy remains very attractive in the market, but the £640 returns in Premium Economy to both New York and Boston recorded in the last sale have been followed-up by £765 and £746 fares respectively. Meanwhile, some Middle Eastern, Indian Ocean and African routes in Premium have been favoured this time, it seems, with Mauritius showing from £994 this time, compared to £1419 in the last sale. In fact, this particular route also offers £150 change flexibility at the sale fare.

All sale fares qualify for Avios and Tier Point credit in the British Airways Executive Club frequent flyer programme, as well as OnBusiness points for small and medium sized enterprises enrolled in that programme.

The Caribbean appears to have been most-favoured in this sale, with most fares the same or lower than last time around.

Once again though, North America seems to have been sprinkled with the least amount of Sale dust, with Club fares at or slightly higher than in the last sale.

Club World to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic is once again notably good from £1195 return – which is £103 cheaper than in the last but one sale, and £2 more than in the May sale.

Some destinations appear not to have had a sale fare loaded at all as yet, and these are highlighted in red bold in the table below, if they remain outstanding. We will continue to refresh the table during the sale, but as some of these destinations are popular ones such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat, we’d expect them to come into line shortly.

Club World Business Class and First Class Sale fares earn full Tier Point and Avios credit in the British Airways Executive Club, and points in the OnBusiness SME Loyalty programme for eligible members.

British Airways Business & First Class Sale Fares Loaded 4th May 2017

by Continental Club on May 4, 2017  |  3 comments • Tagged as: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

British AirwaysBritish Airways is now loading a Luxury World Sale for 2017 and early 2018 travel to destinations worldwide in their Club World Business and First Class cabins. As usual, Continental Club is ahead of public promotion, and therefore readers have the best chance to grab any limited availability. Travel dates vary by destination as usual, reflecting seasonal demand variations. Fares must be booked by 23:59 GMT on 23rd May 2017. As an official ‘Sale’ page is yet to be published to the airline’s website at ba.com, the BA Low Fare Finder at ba.com is the best way to check the new fares and availability.

Some fares and availabilities are still being loaded, although those noted below have been checked against the current fares database and therefore should feed through shortly. For now, some fares may be bookable straight away as part of a British Airways Holidays package. For example, seven nights in Ras Al Khaimah is offered from £1329 per person including breakfast and Club World flights, staying at the Doubletree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island:

Per the highlighted text in this screen grab, the book-by date for this promotion is 9th May 2017, however, rather than 23rd May for the main flight-only Sale.

Overall, Club World fares are 8% higher on a simple average basis than those offered in the last sale, and First Class fares are 2% higher. As usual, some of this can be attributed to seasonal variations, with different travel periods featuring in consecutive sales.

Generally-speaking though, North America seems to have been sprinkled with the least amount of Sale dust, with Club fares on average 11% higher than in the last sale.

If there’s a standout fare in this sale, it would appear to be Club World to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic from £1192 return – which is £103 cheaper than in the last sale.

Club World Business Class and First Class Sale fares earn full Tier Point and Avios credit in the British Airways Executive Club, and points in the OnBusiness SME Loyalty programme for eligible members.

British Airways Business & First Class Sale Fares Loaded 9th March 2017

by Continental Club on March 9, 2017  |  One comment • Tagged as: , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

British AirwaysBritish Airways has loaded its Luxury World Sale for 2017 travel to destinations worldwide in their Club World Business and First Class cabins. Periods of availability vary by destination as usual, reflecting seasonal demand variations. Fares must be booked by 23:59 GMT on 21st March 2017. An official ‘Sale’ page is published to the airline’s website at ba.com, however the BA Low Fare Finder at ba.com is the best way to check the new fares and availability.

Overall, Club World fares are 3% lower on a simple average basis than those offered in the last sale, and First Class fares are 1% lower. As usual, some of this can be attributed to seasonal variations, with different travel periods featuring in consecutive sales.

Generally-speaking many destinations are cheaper than last time around, but the notably low-fare destinations of, say, Abu Dhabi and Muscat in the December sale, are more expensive this time.

Doha, by contrast, appears untouched in this sale, perhaps by virtue of all BA flights between London and the Qatari capital now being operated in a codeshare joint veture with Qatar Airways, who may have to approve any fare change.

The additional offer of a further £200 discount when two Club World tickets are booked together is also offered once again to destinations in North & Central America. These Companion Club World Business Class Fares must be purchased together and on the exact same itinerary with no deviations permitted.

The destinations included from London Heathrow are Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Baltimore, Chicago, Denver, Dallas Fort Worth, New York (Newark), New York (JFK), Washington, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Miami, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, Seattle, San Francisco, San Jose (California), Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto.

Club World Business Class and First Class Sale fares earn full Tier Point and Avios credit in the British Airways Executive Club, and points in the OnBusiness SME Loyalty programme for eligible members.

British AirwaysBritish Airways has loaded its Unforgettable Sale for 2017 travel to destinations worldwide in their Club World Business and First Class cabins. Periods of availability vary by destination as usual, reflecting seasonal demand variations. Fares must be booked by 23:59 GMT on 31st January 2017. BA CW LEISURE

It’s difficult to pick fare highlights out in this particular sale; in part this is due to the last sale in November being a slightly unusual one with only certain destinations covered, but with significant discounts offered. This sale, then, is more comprehensive, but some fares are on-par, some are higher and a few are lower.

Taken in isolation, as opposed to in comparison with other sales, the standout destinations this time are therefore probably Abu Dhabi and Muscat, both of which are on sale from £1195 in Club World, and £1595 in First Class.

An additional offer of a further £200 discount when two Club World tickets are booked together is also offered to destinations in North & Central America.

British AirwaysBritish Airways has loaded its ‘Unforgettable‘ sale of World Traveller (Economy) and World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy) fares for travel to destinations worldwide on selected dates. BA WT NEW

The reservation system also shows sale fares being loaded in the airline’s Club World business and First Class cabins, and we have published a separate list of these here.

Overall, Economy fares are 3% lower than in the last sale, and Premium Economy fares are on average 9% lower. This is the first time that the newly-announced destinations of Fort Lauderdale, New Orleans, Oakland and Tehran have been offered at ‘sale’ fares; Sydney at £670 return in Economy is the lowest fare that we’ve ever tracked from BA for the route, and £640 return in Premium Economy to both New York and Boston is also as low as we have ever recorded.

All sale fares qualify for Avios and Tier Point credit in the British Airways Executive Club frequent flyer programme, as well as OnBusiness points for small and medium sized enterprises enrolled in that programme.
