British Airways Business & First Class Sale Fares Loaded 10th October 2019

British Airways has loaded sale fares for the remainder of 2019 and 2020 travel to destinations worldwide in their Club World Business and First Class cabins. Travel dates vary by destination, reflecting seasonal demand variations. Fares must be booked by 23:59 GMT on 29th October 2019. An official ‘Sale’ page has been published to the airline’s website at ba.com, and, as always, the BA Low Fare Finder at ba.com is the best way to check the new fares and availability.
Most longhaul destinations in Business Class are included in this sale, although there are some obvious omissions from the First Class routes, particularly to Latin America and the Caribbean.
In this sale, Johannesburg in Club World is one of the standout fares in this sale, starting at £1709 return from London.
In addition, British Airways is advertising the availability of special companion fares for two passengers travelling together. Destinations included in this particular offer are listed as The Seychelles, Kingston, Durban, Nairobi, Johannesburg, Islamabad, Chennai, Kuala Lumpur, Nassau, Santiago, Sao Paolo, Singapore and Sydney. In practice, however, it seems as the fares for two to some of these destinations are simply the cost of two solo fares, so there may potentially be an error somewhere. Durban at £2999 for two is almost two-for one, whereas Nairobi at £2499 for two is no better than the sum of the solo costs.
On a simple average, fares are overall 2% lower in Club and 6% lower in First Class than in the August 2019 Sale, which has the effect of bringing fares back towards those shown in the preceding May 2019 Sale.
Club World Business Class and First Class Sale fares earn full Tier Point and Avios credit in the British Airways Executive Club, and points in the OnBusiness SME Loyalty programme for eligible members.

British Airways has now loaded sale fares in its World Traveller (Economy) and World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy) cabins for travel to destinations worldwide on selected dates throughout 2019 and the first half of 2020. Periods of availability vary by destination, reflecting seasonal demand variations. Fares must be booked by 23:59 GMT on 24th September 2019. An official ‘Sale’ page is published to the airline’s website at ba.com but, as always, the BA Low Fare Finder is the best way to check the new fares and availability.
Overall, Economy fares are 2% higher than in the last full sale on a simple average basis and Premium Economy fares are on a par. Sydney is down to £628 from £655 return in Economy, while New York sheds the pounds in Premium Economy; down to £560 from £726 in May. Likewise Boston is down from £747 to £547.
Conversely, Phoenix – which returns to Heathrow’s Terminal 5, but also switches from 747-400 to 777-300 equipment from March 2020 – rises from £408 to £509 for Economy lead-in fares, and from £872 to £953 in Premium.
The Middle East and Africa generally see higher starting fares than in the last sale, with the exception of The Seychelles – Economy is down from £695 to £614, and Premium eases from £956 to £831.
All sale fares qualify for Avios and Tier Point credit in the British Airways Executive Club frequent flyer programme, as well as OnBusiness points for small and medium sized enterprises enrolled in that programme.

It has been some time coming, but British Airways has loaded sale fares for 2019 and 2020 travel to destinations worldwide in their Club World Business and First Class cabins. Travel dates vary by destination, reflecting seasonal demand variations. Fares must be booked by 23:59 GMT on 24th September 2019. Destinations included in this sale appear to be balanced between business and leisure routes. Caribbean and Indian Ocean destinations are included this time, unlike in March when they were absent from the promotional listings.
Mexico City in First Class from £1898 continues to be one of the standout fares in this sale, as it has been in the last two. Once again, availability is extremely limited at these fares, but seats are definitively available. First Class fares are otherwise fairly unremarkable in this sale, with numerous destinations such as San Francisco being offered only at significantly higher fares than last time around.
It’s a similar story in Club World, with most fares the same or more than last time. On a simple average, fares are overall 8% higher in Club and 14% higher in First Class than in the May 2019 Sale.
Club World Business Class and First Class Sale fares earn full Tier Point and Avios credit in the British Airways Executive Club, and points in the OnBusiness SME Loyalty programme for eligible members.

British Airways has now loaded sale fares in its World Traveller (Economy) and World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy) cabins for travel to destinations worldwide on selected dates throughout 2019 and the first months of 2020. Periods of availability vary by destination, reflecting seasonal demand variations. Fares must be booked by 23:59 GMT on 21st May 2019. An official ‘Sale’ page is published to the airline’s website at ba.com but, as always, the BA Low Fare Finder is the best way to check the new fares and availability.
Overall, Economy fares are 5% higher and Premium Economy fares are 6% higher than in the last full sale on a simple average basis. Sydney is now £655 return in Economy, from £617 in December, though down from £697 the previous year. However, Los Angeles sheds another £34 from its last Premium Economy sale fare, while Vancouver loses an additional £20 compared to last time around. Dubai, Doha and Abu Dhabi all see lower Premium Economy fares than in the last sale.
Looking West in Economy, it’s Los Angeles and San Jose (California) that benefit from the lowest £268 fares. Some of these new, low, Economy prices are partly driven by the airline’s recent move to offer hand luggage only deals on longhaul, as well as shorthaul routes.
All sale fares qualify for Avios and Tier Point credit in the British Airways Executive Club frequent flyer programme, as well as OnBusiness points for small and medium sized enterprises enrolled in that programme.
