Members of the Star Alliance Company Plus corporate loyalty programme can look forward to a raft of changes on 7th January 2014, the first of which will be a new name: PartnerPlusBenefit.

The scheme, which covers Air Canada, ANA, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, SAS Scandinavian Airlines, SWISS, TAP Portugal, United and Germanwings, will relaunch with the opportunity to earn PlusPoints in all booking classes, including the most discounted.

This has until-now been a competitive weakness of the Company Plus programme, at least compared to other corporate rewards schemes such as British Airways On Business.

PartnerPlusBenefit promises to reveal more details of the changes in the run up to the official changeover date in January, but suggests in the meantime that the range of awards available for redemption will remain the same.
